About the platform
Marvel – Be You is an influencer marketing platform in Bangladesh that connects brands with influencers. According to its public site, it offers influencer profiling by brand fit, tools to manage collaborations, campaign design and launch, and content analytics with reporting on creator performance.
It is a live production platform used by real brands and creators, so changes to it have to be safe: a bad release or a failed migration affects people who are in the middle of running campaigns.
What I worked on
Database: I ran a production PostgreSQL migration on the live database. Migrating live data means planning the change so the platform keeps working while it happens, and being ready to check the result afterwards.
Meta integration: I completed the upgrade of the platform dashboard to Meta Graph API v25. Platform APIs change their versions and behaviour over time, so keeping the integration current is what keeps the dashboard working.
Deployment: I set up the deployment pipeline with Docker Compose behind an Nginx reverse proxy, and configured releases through GitHub deploy keys so each production release follows the same repeatable steps.
Product work: I built and integrated APIs for dynamic platform features, and worked on UI components and frontend logic, collaborating with the internal team to iterate on features and fix production issues.
Stack
React and Node.js on the application side, PostgreSQL for data, Docker and Nginx for deployment, and the Meta Graph API for the social integration.
